The Deye SUN-15K-SG05LP3-AU-SM2 gives a three phase property 15kW of hybrid solar and battery power without moving to an expensive high voltage battery.
This is the 15kW model in the SG05LP3 range. If you need more output, there is also a 20kW version built on the same platform.
It runs on the same standard 48V battery modules as the smaller Deye inverters, so the storage side stays affordable and easy to source. Two battery inputs, room for 30,000W of panels, and a 10 year Australian warranty. Approved by the Clean Energy Council.
Three phase output, 48V storage
15kW across three phases while still running the same 48V battery modules used on Deye's single phase range.
Fills a big bank in a day
Up to 280A of charge and discharge current, split across two battery inputs.
Room for 30,000W of panels
Two trackers with two strings each, so there is headroom for winter and overcast days.
Where this one fits
15kW is the size most properties land on when a single phase system will no longer do the job. A large home with ducted air conditioning, a farm with pumps and sheds, or a workshop with three phase machinery all sit comfortably here.
The unusual part is the battery side. Most three phase inverters at this output expect a high voltage stack, which narrows your choice of brands. This one takes ordinary 48V modules, so you can start with a modest bank and add to it later without changing the inverter.

Where your solar actually goes
Through the day your solar covers whatever is running on the property first. The surplus goes into the battery instead of being exported for a small feed in payment, and only what is left after that flows out to the grid.
After dark the inverter pulls that stored energy back out, so the solar you generated at lunchtime is still running the house at nine in the evening.
When the power goes out
The transfer switch is built in and rated at 70A, so your backup circuits can cover most of the property rather than a few chosen powerpoints. The changeover is automatic.
There is a 24A generator input as well, which matters on rural blocks where an outage can run for days. A generator can carry the property and charge the battery at the same time.

If you already have solar
The inverter can AC couple to micro inverters or to an existing grid tied system, so a second array can sit on a shed roof some distance away without long DC cable runs back to the inverter.

Approved for Australian sites
Clean Energy Council approved and built to AS/NZS 4777.2, so your installer can sign it off and it counts toward government incentive schemes. The case is IP65 rated, so it can go on an outside wall.
Main Features:
Three phase output on low voltage storage. 15kW across three phases using standard 48V battery modules.
Two battery inputs. Split a large bank across two inputs instead of forcing everything through one.
280A charge and discharge. Enough to fill a sizeable bank in a single good solar day.
30,000W of panels. Across two trackers with two strings each.
70A backup passthrough. Covers most of a property rather than a few essential circuits.
Generator ready. A 24A generator input for long outages on rural blocks.
Parallel to 10 units. Add more inverters later, on grid or off grid.
Rated for outdoors. IP65 sealed, so it can go on an external wall without extra weatherproofing.

Important Disclaimer: Installation of Hardwired Electrical Products in Australia
Please read the following information, including the disclaimer at the bottom of this page;
by purchasing from Buzz Energy Systems, you understand and acknowledge these terms.
When it comes to the installation of hardwired electrical products in Australia, it is important to be aware of the regulations and guidelines in place to ensure safety and compliance.
As per the Electrical Safety Act, installations operating at ELV (Extra Low Voltage) levels of 120 VDC and below can be installed by individuals with the necessary knowledge and skills.
However, it is crucial to note that installations operating above ELV levels require the expertise of licensed electricians and experienced installers. Products falling under this category are not suitable for DIY (Do-It-Yourself) installation and must be handled by professionals. Attempting to install such products without the proper qualifications can not only compromise performance but also invalidate any manufacturer's warranties.
At Buzz Energy Systems, we recognise the importance of reliable and efficient installations that prioritise safety, performance and warranty compliance. Our team consists of qualified tradespeople and specialists who are equipped with the expertise required to handle complex electrical installations.
For installations that operate above ELV levels, we strongly advise against DIY installation. Instead, we recommend seeking professional assistance from licensed electricians and experienced installers to ensure the proper installation and optimal performance of such products.
When it comes to installing hardwired electrical products above ELV levels, rest assured that Buzz Energy Systems can provide the necessary qualified tradespeople and specialists. Our professional installation services guarantee compliance with regulations, the preservation of manufacturers warranties and most importantly, your safety.
