Australia is a large country with remote destinations and changing conditions.
With so many variables and the changing nature of freight logistics in Australia, we manually calculate shipping on every applicable order.
It's our aim to provide you with the best value and we always strive to keep our prices to you at a minimum.
Standard Parcel Shipping (Non-Pallet Items)
Shipping is FREE Australia-wide on most non-palletised orders over $50.
Orders under $50 are subject to a flat $15 shipping fee.
These items ship via standard courier networks and do not require specialised freight handling.
Heavy, Palletised & Specialised Freight
Some products (e.g. batteries, racks, large inverters and other bulky items) require palletised or specialised transport.
These shipments attract freight charges based on:
- Delivery location
- Residential vs business address
- Depot Delivery option for collection
- Tailgate equipped truck requirements
- Dangerous goods handling (where applicable)
Freight costs for these items will be confirmed prior to processing the order.
Regional, Remote & Extended Areas may attract additional freight charges and extended transit times due to geography, carrier surcharges and limited transport runs.
These may include (but are not limited to):

- Tasmania - sea freight distances and handling increase cost. 
- Northern Territory (including Darwin) — treated as regional/remote by carriers.

These areas may trigger:
- Regional/remote freight fees, including fuel surcharges
- Dangerous goods handling surcharges (for batteries) 
For products requiring specialised transport (e.g., bulky or heavy freight), we will confirm costs with you before processing the order.
Depot Collection Option
Where possible (e.g. major regional depots), depot collection may reduce freight cost. Please ask us for a quote if this is available for your area.
Before You Place Your Order
We recommend contacting us for a freight estimate if you’re in Tasmania, NT including Darwin, or Far North Queensland — this helps avoid unexpected additional freight costs after checkout.
For Large or heavy Items requiring shipping on pallets, unloading facilities such as an onsite forklift are required and applies to all locations.
Hand unloading is generally not permitted for heavy items or multiple products packed on a pallet or skid.
Pricing for these products will be quoted including any additional shipping charges if applicable, prior to processing the order.
If unloading facilities are not available, a tailgate platform truck will be specified at extra cost.
Alternatively, we can ship to a nearby freight depot for customer collection by prior arrangement at lesser cost.
If you decide to not proceed, we can cancel the order and issue a full refund.
Customers Please Note:
Due to the fragile nature and awkward shape of glass fronted solar panels, shipping these products can be tricky.
Prior to placing orders for Solar Panels or large palletised items in Non-Metro areas, please contact us to determine the appropriate shipping method to ensure safe, cost -effective delivery.
Handling time is typically 1-3 business days and Transit Time 2-4 business days to most Capital Cities and surrounding areas. Since our products often ship directly from manufacturers and/or different distribution centres around the country, some orders may arrive in separate deliveries.
(Please Note: this excludes "custom" or "made to order" products as noted on product pages; customers will be advised on estimated lead times either upon placing order or submitting an enquiry).
In the unlikely event a product is out of stock at the time of ordering, the customer will be notified as soon as possible prior to processing payment. The option will be offered to either proceed with the order based on the estimated delivery time, or cancel the order if unsatisfactory.
Goods are to be inspected upon delivery and orders are deemed to be fulfilled with items received in good order and at the quantities required, unless notified within 7 days.
Orders to regional and remote destinations may be delayed by circumstances out of our control, such as flood or fire, however be assured that every order is monitored and carriers are selected to minimise delay.
In any case, it is our utmost aim to prevent disappointment or inconvenience due to goods being unavailable and Buzz Energy Systems will work to resolve any issues that may arise.
