Do you install solar systems, or just supply the equipment?

We supply the equipment. You can buy directly through our website, and if you are not sure what you need, contact us and we will help you work it out. We do not carry out installations ourselves, but we can help you find an installer: fill in our Find My Kit form and we will match your job with available installers and keep you updated along the way.

If you are in the trade, we can offer trade pricing on selected products and quantities. Get in touch with what you are after.

Can I install the equipment myself?

For most of our products, the work must be carried out by a licensed electrician or an accredited installer, and doing it yourself can void the manufacturer's warranty. Anything wired into your home or the grid is electrical work and is not a DIY job under Australian law.

Whether any part of a job is suitable for an owner depends on the product and the work involved, so if you are unsure, ask us about the specific product before you buy.

Can you help me find an installer in my area?

Yes. Start with our Find My Kit form, which captures the full scope of your job. We review your answers to confirm everything an installer needs is there, then contact available installers for your job and keep you updated at each step. Having complete information, including photos of your switchboard and existing system, is what lets us move quickly.

How does quoting work, and how long does a quote take?

Once we have everything we need, a quote typically takes 24 to 48 hours, depending on the complexity of the project and installer availability. To get started we ask for your installation or delivery address, details of any current system, photos of your existing solar equipment, switchboard, meter box and the proposed installation area, and any specific products or requirements you have. The easiest way to give us all of that is the Find My Kit form.

Quotes are generally valid for 7 days, subject to product availability, supplier pricing and freight costs.

Do you have products in stock, and how long will I wait?

We confirm stock availability before processing every order, and if something needs to be ordered in we tell you the expected timeframe up front. Once your order is in stock and dispatched, delivery normally takes 3 to 4 business days, depending on the courier and your location.

If you need something by a certain date, mention it when you order and we will confirm before processing.

How much does delivery cost?

Standard parcels over $50 ship free Australia-wide. Orders under $50 have a flat $15 delivery charge.

Heavy or palletised freight (pallets of panels, large batteries, some inverters) is different: the cost depends on your location, whether the address is residential or commercial, dangerous goods handling and whether a tailgate truck is needed, so we confirm the freight arrangement with you before processing the order. Palletised deliveries need equipment or help on site to unload, because drivers are not permitted to hand-unload heavy items. If you have no way to unload, the options are a tailgate truck at additional cost or collection from a nearby freight depot.

Can I pick up my order instead of having it delivered?

Often, yes. Depending on where the stock is held, you may be able to collect your order from a freight depot near you, subject to warehouse approval. Ask us when you order and we will confirm whether depot collection is available for your items and location.

What is your returns policy?

Contact us before sending anything back, by emailing products@buzz.energy with your order number. You have 30 days from receiving your order to return an eligible product for any reason, as long as it is unused, in like-new condition and in its original packaging with all accessories.

  • For change-of-mind returns, you cover the return freight and a restocking fee of up to 15% may apply.
  • If an item arrives faulty, damaged or incorrect, that is on us: we cover the freight and it is handled under the warranty process instead.
  • Cancel before your order ships and you receive a full refund.

Some items cannot be returned, such as certified pre-owned goods and one-time-use items. Full details are in the refund policy.

My product has developed a fault. What do I do?

Submit a warranty ticket through our Submit a Ticket form. That puts your claim straight into our warranty process: we review it, confirm the details with the manufacturer or supplier, and only then arrange any collection or replacement, so please do not send anything back before we confirm. If a fault is confirmed we handle the exchange, repair or refund from there and keep you updated.

What payment methods do you accept, and can I pay a deposit on a big order?

All available payment methods are shown at checkout. Paying by bank transfer takes 1.5% off your order.

For larger orders we can arrange split payments or a deposit, which also helps if your bank has daily transaction limits. Contact us before you order and we will set it up.

What support do you provide after the sale?

We support the products we supply: basic troubleshooting, product guidance, warranty assistance and liaising with the manufacturer or supplier when needed. If an issue looks like a product fault, we help with the initial assessment and coordinate the warranty process.

Installation-related issues, electrical faults, commissioning, site-specific configuration and on-site troubleshooting sit with your licensed installer or electrician. In short: we support the product and the warranty process, your installer is responsible for the installation, and the manufacturer handles product-level service.
