The VE.Direct to USB interface connects products with a VE.Direct connection to devices with a USB port, for example a computer.
This interface is used to connect Victron products with a VE.Direct port (like some solar charge controllers, battery monitors, and inverters) to a computer or other USB device. It allows for monitoring, updating firmware, and configuring settings on devices that use the VE.Direct protocol.
With this cable it is also possible to connect more than two VE.Direct products to a single Colour Control GX.

It is not compatible with devices that use the VE.Bus protocol, such as the MultiPlus or EasySolar inverters.

Products falling under this category are not suitable for DIY (Do-It-Yourself) installation and must be handled by professionals. This includes, but is not limited to, DC solar arrays operating above 120 VDC and hardwired outputs of inverters and similar products converting ELV levels to AC voltage levels over 50V (such as 230V AC).
Attempting to install such products without the proper qualifications can not only compromise performance and pose a significant safety risk, but also may invalidate any manufacturer’s warranties.
