1000A Victron Lynx M10 busbar with a built-in battery monitor and flexible main fuse holder

Needs a Victron GX device (such as a Cerbo GX) to show the battery readings. Main system fuse sold separately.

The Victron Lynx Shunt VE.Can M10 sits between your battery bank and the rest of a 12V, 24V or 48V DC system. It carries up to 1000A, holds a CNN, ANL or Mega main fuse and measures everything flowing in and out of the battery, so your GX device can show state of charge, time to go and alarms, on site or remotely in the VRM portal.

Battery monitor built in

A shunt in the negative busbar measures every amp in and out of the battery, so there is no separate battery monitor to buy or wire.

Fuse it your way

Takes a CNN, ANL or Mega main fuse, or fit the included fuse dummy busbar and put a larger main fuse elsewhere in the system.

Temperature sensor included

The battery temperature sensor comes in the box, so battery temperature shows on your GX device and can drive the alarm relay.

Lynx Shunt VE.Can M10 Main Features:

  • 1000A continuous rating: carries up to 1000A DC, which is about 12kW at 12V, 24kW at 24V and 48kW at 48V.
  • Full battery monitoring: battery voltage, current, power, state of charge, amp hours used and time to go, shown on your GX device and in the VRM portal.
  • Three main fuse options: holds a CNN or ANL fuse on M8 bolts, or a Mega fuse on M6 bolts. The Victron CNN 325A/80V fuse fits and is sold separately.
  • Fuse dummy busbar included: fit the supplied piece of busbar in place of the fuse to mount the main fuse outside the shunt, useful in larger systems that need a higher rated fuse.
  • Fuse monitoring: when the fuse is in the shunt, a blown fuse turns the power LED red and sends an alarm to the GX device.
  • VE.Can communication: connects to a Cerbo GX or other Victron GX device for monitoring and setup. Two RJ45 VE.Can terminators are in the box.
  • Programmable alarm relay: potential free contact rated 3A at 30Vdc or 250Vac, set from the GX device to switch on state of charge, battery voltage, battery temperature or a blown fuse.
  • Battery temperature sensor: included, with ferrules and terminal block. Temperature is logged on the GX device and VRM and can drive the relay.
  • History log: records lowest and highest battery voltage, total amp hours drawn, synchronisation count and alarm counts.
  • NMEA 2000 ready: joins a boat's NMEA 2000 network through its VE.Can port with a VE.Can to NMEA 2000 micro-C cable.
  • Modular Lynx design: bolts straight onto other M10 Lynx modules, such as the Lynx Power In (M10) and Lynx Distributor (M10), to form one continuous busbar. Batteries connect on the left, loads and chargers on the right.

  • Power consumption: 60mA at 12V, 33mA at 24V, 20mA at 48V
  • Busbar connections: M10
  • Fuse or fuse dummy: M8 bolts (Mega fuse on M6 bolts)
  • Busbar: tinned copper, 8 x 30 mm
  • Alarm relay: 3A, 30Vdc / 250Vac
  • Reverse polarity protection: No
  • Dimensions (h x w x d): 190 x 180 x 80 mm
  • Weight: 1.4kg
  • Protection class: IP22
  • Operating temperature: -40°C to +60°C

What's Included:

  • 1x Victron Lynx Shunt VE.Can M10 (LYN040102110)
  • 2x RJ45 VE.Can terminators
  • 1x battery temperature sensor (ASS000001000) with ferrules and terminal block
  • 1x fuse dummy (piece of busbar)
Before you order

The Lynx Shunt VE.Can is read and set up on a Victron GX device, such as the Cerbo GX, so your system needs one. The main system fuse is not included. M10 Lynx modules cannot bolt directly to older M8 Lynx modules, so match the busbar size when adding to an existing system. There is no reverse polarity protection, so check polarity before connecting.
