The SOFAR PowerAll Residential ESS Solution - Hybrid Inverter & HV Battery is a fully integrated, CEC approved home energy storage solution, combining a single-phase 5 or 6kW ESI hybrid inverter with high-voltage BTS 5K battery modules.

The system supports up to six battery modules per unit, and up to six systems can be connected in parallel, allowing configurations with a maximum output of 36 kW and a storage capacity of up to 180 kWh.
This all-in-one solar battery solution features an integrated Power Control Unit (PCU) to maximise available battery capacity and enhance overall system efficiency. Its modular stacking design allows for fast, space-saving installation, while dual electrical and isolation ensures maximum safety and system reliability.

Built with a Power Control Unit (PCU), the inverter enhances overall system efficiency by increasing usable battery energy by up to 6%, making maintenance more convenient and cost-effective.
Engineered for compatibility with today’s advanced solar panels, it supports up to 16A PV input current, making it ideal for high-current and bifacial modules. With dual electrical and physical isolation, this inverter prioritises safety and reliability in every application.

The BTS 5K Extension Base is an essential component for expanding the Sofar BTS energy storage system. For configurations involving four battery modules—such as the 20 kW E20 setup—the system should be divided into two separate stacks. Installing all four modules on a single base is not recommended. Instead, the proper arrangement requires two modules on one base with the BDU and two modules on a second base, ensuring safe and compliant installation.

Installation of Hardwired Electrical Products

As per the Electrical Safety Act, installations operating at ELV (Extra Low Voltage) levels of 120 VDC (Ripple Free) and below may be installed by individuals with the necessary knowledge and skills.
However, it is crucial to note that installations operating above ELV levels require the expertise of licensed electricians and experienced installers. Products falling under this category are not suitable for DIY (Do-It-Yourself) installation and must be handled by professionals. This includes, but is not limited to, DC solar arrays operating above 120 VDC and hardwired outputs of inverters and similar products converting ELV levels to AC voltage levels over 50V (such as 230V AC).
Attempting to install such products without the proper qualifications can not only compromise performance and pose a significant safety risk, but also may invalidate any manufacturer’s warranties.
