- Simply plug the module into a compatible SigenStor Energy Controller or Inverter using the USB interface.
- Power it on and check the LED indicators for connection status.
- Enjoy instant, real-time communication and monitoring—no extra configuration is needed.
Data Plan, Renewal and Switching to WiFi:
The module ships with a Telstra SIM and 2 years of included data. The 2 years runs from activation, not from the date you buy it.
- Renewing: Renewal is $50 for a further 2 years, and you can do it yourself in the mySigen app. Go to Service, then Mall, and scroll down until you find the data plan.
- What you get: Up to 50MB per month, which is plenty for system monitoring.
- Prefer to switch to WiFi or ethernet? You do not have to renew. Unplug the 4G module and connect the system to your home network through Connectivity in the mySigen app.
Renewal pricing is set by Sigenergy and may change over time.

As per the Electrical Safety Act, installations operating at ELV (Extra Low Voltage) levels of 120 VDC (Ripple Free) and below may be installed by individuals with the necessary knowledge and skills.
However, it is crucial to note that installations operating above ELV levels require the expertise of licensed electricians and experienced installers. Products falling under this category are not suitable for DIY (Do-It-Yourself) installation and must be handled by professionals. This includes, but is not limited to, DC solar arrays operating above 120 VDC and hardwired outputs of inverters and similar products converting ELV levels to AC voltage levels over 50V (such as 230V AC).
Attempting to install such products without the proper qualifications can not only compromise performance and pose a significant safety risk, but also may invalidate any manufacturer’s warranties.
