Fast, reliable DC charging for your EV, powered by your own solar and battery, without the limits of your car's onboard AC charger.

Note: The SigenStor EV DC Charging Module must be used together with a SigenStor Energy Controller and Battery.

DC charging delivers power straight to your car's battery and bypasses the onboard charger, so it is far faster than AC charging. That makes it ideal for quick top ups, commercial fleets, long distance travel and anywhere a fast turnaround matters. It is also V2H and V2G ready, so in time your EV can help power your home.

SigenStor EV DC Charging Module Main Features:

Smart, Solar First Power. The module draws from solar, battery and grid, on their own or blended together, and prioritises solar by default to cut your grid use. You can also schedule charging around time of use tariffs, protect your battery reserves, or favour grid input when it suits you.

Direct DC Connection. Connecting straight to the system's DC bus reduces energy loss and lets output adjust in real time to the energy available. Best suited to daily solar top ups and off peak scheduling rather than full charges from empty.

Bi-Directional and V2X Ready. Built in Vehicle to Home and Vehicle to Grid capability means your EV can send power back to your home or the grid when you need it.
*V2X depends on your vehicle's compatibility. It will be enabled by over the air update once official standards and supported models are released.

Start at 12.5 kW, Move up to 25 kW Later. The 12.5 kW module already has the full 25 kW capability built into the hardware. Unlock it whenever you are ready with the SigenStor EVDC 25 kW Fast Charging License from the Mall section of the mySigen app, applied over the air. No hardware swap, no rewiring and no site visit.
*Applies to units supplied from June 2026, which carry an UPGRADABLE label on the packaging.

Your Inverter Sets the Ceiling. The charging module is managed by the single SigenStor stack it sits on, and the inverter on that stack governs how much DC power it can deliver. A 15 kW inverter means 15 kW of DC charging, and no software licence changes that. To charge faster you add a larger inverter on a second stack, with the Gateway upgraded to the 60 kW model to suit. If 25 kW charging is your goal, talk to us first and we will make sure your system is built for it.
*Charging speed also varies with the solar, battery and grid power available at the time, so an output below your system's maximum in some conditions is normal.

Control From Anywhere. The mySigen app makes it easy to manage charging from your phone, wherever you are.

Built for All Weather. IP66 rated against rain, dust and extreme temperatures, with no maintenance needed.

Installation of Hardwired Electrical Products
in Australia

When it comes to the installation of hardwired electrical products in Australia, it is important to be aware of the regulations and guidelines in place to ensure safety and compliance. As per the Electrical Safety Act, installations operating at ELV (Extra Low Voltage) levels of 120 VDC (Ripple Free) and below may be installed by individuals with the necessary knowledge and skills.

However, it is crucial to note that installations operating above ELV levels require the expertise of licensed electricians and experienced installers. Products falling under this category are not suitable for DIY (Do-It-Yourself) installation and must be handled by professionals. This includes, but is not limited to, DC solar arrays operating above 120 VDC and hardwired outputs of inverters and similar products converting ELV levels to AC voltage levels over 50V (such as 230V AC).

Attempting to install such products without the proper qualifications can not only compromise performance and pose a significant safety risk, but also may invalidate any manufacturer’s warranties.

At Buzz Energy Systems, we recognise the importance of reliable and efficient installations that prioritise safety, performance, and warranty compliance.

For installations that operate above ELV levels, we strongly advise against DIY installation. Instead, we recommend seeking professional assistance from licensed electricians and experienced installers to ensure the proper installation and optimal performance of such products.

Buzz Energy Systems can facilitate access to qualified tradespeople and accredited design professionals. Our network of trusted contractors ensures compliance with regulations, preservation of manufacturers’ warranties, and most importantly, your safety.
