  • Dimensions: 442×420×132 mm
  • Weight: 32 kg
  • Operating Temp: Charge 0–50°C / Discharge -10–50°C
  • Cycle Life: >6,000 cycles at 25°C
  • Certifications: UL1973, UL9540A, IEC62619, UN38.3 and more

Important Note For Victron-Based Systems:

Pylontech US2000, US3000 and US5000 batteries use 15 cells in series, while most other LiFePO₄ batteries use 16 cells. When a Victron system charges to 53.2V, a 16-cell battery spreads that voltage across 16 cells (about 3.32V per cell). A 15-cell battery has to spread the same total voltage across only 15 cells, which means each cell sits higher voltage (about 3.55V per cell). Because the cells are operating closer to their upper limit, some systems may show a high voltage warning during the final stage of charging. Lowering the maximum charge voltage slightly (for example, to 52.4V) reduces the voltage on each cell and can help prevent these warnings, with little change to usable capacity

Installation of Hardwired Electrical Products
in Australia

When it comes to the installation of hardwired electrical products in Australia, it is important to be aware of the regulations and guidelines in place to ensure safety and compliance. As per the Electrical Safety Act, installations operating at ELV (Extra Low Voltage) levels of 120 VDC (Ripple Free) and below may be installed by individuals with the necessary knowledge and skills.

However, it is crucial to note that installations operating above ELV levels require the expertise of licensed electricians and experienced installers. Products falling under this category are not suitable for DIY (Do-It-Yourself) installation and must be handled by professionals. This includes, but is not limited to, DC solar arrays operating above 120 VDC and hardwired outputs of inverters and similar products converting ELV levels to AC voltage levels over 50V (such as 230V AC).

Attempting to install such products without the proper qualifications can not only compromise performance and pose a significant safety risk, but also may invalidate any manufacturer’s warranties.

At Buzz Energy Systems, we recognise the importance of reliable and efficient installations that prioritise safety, performance, and warranty compliance.

For installations that operate above ELV levels, we strongly advise against DIY installation. Instead, we recommend seeking professional assistance from licensed electricians and experienced installers to ensure the proper installation and optimal performance of such products.

Buzz Energy Systems can facilitate access to qualified tradespeople and accredited design professionals. Our network of trusted contractors ensures compliance with regulations, preservation of manufacturers’ warranties, and most importantly, your safety.
