Fronius Reserva Energy Storage is a DC-coupled, modular and high-voltage battery designed for efficient solar energy storage with minimal losses.
Seamlessly compatible with Fronius Gen 24 Plus and the new range of Verto hybrid inverters, the Reserva integrates directly into solar systems for optimal performance.
Fronius Reserva uses lithium iron phosphate (LFP) chemistry ensuring long-lasting performance and safety, while supporting greater independence from the grid. Built for flexibility, each stack from 6.3 kWh to 15.8 kWh of capacity. Paralleled up to 4 stacked towers of total 63 kWh making it suitable for both residential and small commercial applications.
Its compact design, IP65 protection and ability to be installed indoors or outdoors areas make it a durable and versatile storage solution. With 10-year warranty coverage, European data security and reliable service, the system is built for long-term peace of mind.
Main Features
Modular, Space-Efficient Design. Fronius Reserva features a sleek, tower-style format with 2 to 5 stackable modules per unit, each offering approximately 3.15 kWh of capacity. System sizes include 6.3, 9.5, 12.6, and 15.8 kWh, with scalability up to 63 kWh via parallel connection of up to four towers.
LFP Cell Technology for Safety and Stability. Built with Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) pouch cells, Reserva offers improved safety, better thermal performance, and a compact internal layout—making it a reliable and efficient choice over conventional battery chemistries.
Engineered for Harsh Australian Environments. With an IP65 rating and C4 corrosion resistance, the battery is ideal for protected outdoor areas such as under eaves or verandas. It’s also suitable for coastal sites within 200 m of the shoreline.
Designed with Installers in Mind. Reserva includes Staubli MC4 EVO2 connectors, native support for 6 mm² and 10 mm² cables, front-facing LED indicators, and an integrated circuit breaker. Rear cable entry and side-mounted DC/comms interfaces simplify installation and wiring.
No External Combiner Required. Dual positive and negative DC connectors enable direct tower-to-tower linking, eliminating the need for separate combiner boxes and reducing installation time and component costs.
Integrated Fronius Ecosystem Support. Fully compatible with Fronius Smart Meters, OhmPilot, and Wattpilot EV Chargers. Its DC-coupled architecture ensures high round-trip efficiency with minimal energy loss through conversion.
Backup Power, Your Way. Choose basic backup via the Fronius PV Point (up to 3 kW single-phase socket during outages), or full automatic backup with a Fronius Backup Controller—delivering a smooth changeover to selected loads in 10–15 seconds.
10-Year Warranty with Local Support. Reserva is backed by a 10-year product warranty and supported by Fronius’s dedicated service network. Installers benefit from tools like Fronius.SOS for fast diagnostics and 24/7 assistance.

Installation of Hardwired Electrical Products
in Australia
When it comes to the installation of hardwired electrical products in Australia, it is important to be aware of the regulations and guidelines in place to ensure safety and compliance. As per the Electrical Safety Act, installations operating at ELV (Extra Low Voltage) levels of 120 VDC (Ripple Free) and below may be installed by individuals with the necessary knowledge and skills.
However, it is crucial to note that installations operating above ELV levels require the expertise of licensed electricians and experienced installers. Products falling under this category are not suitable for DIY (Do-It-Yourself) installation and must be handled by professionals. This includes, but is not limited to, DC solar arrays operating above 120 VDC and hardwired outputs of inverters and similar products converting ELV levels to AC voltage levels over 50V (such as 230V AC).
Attempting to install such products without the proper qualifications can not only compromise performance and pose a significant safety risk, but also may invalidate any manufacturer’s warranties.
At Buzz Energy Systems, we recognise the importance of reliable and efficient installations that prioritise safety, performance, and warranty compliance.
For installations that operate above ELV levels, we strongly advise against DIY installation. Instead, we recommend seeking professional assistance from licensed electricians and experienced installers to ensure the proper installation and optimal performance of such products.
Buzz Energy Systems can facilitate access to qualified tradespeople and accredited design professionals. Our network of trusted contractors ensures compliance with regulations, preservation of manufacturers’ warranties, and most importantly, your safety.
