What's the largest inverter size for single phase?
Our largest single-phase inverters currently top out at 10kW. That includes the Deye SUN-10K-SG02LP1-AU-AM3, the Sungrow SH10RS and the Fronius Primo GEN24 Plus 10.0kW.
Any inverter you choose must match your property's electrical supply, so check whether your home is wired for single-phase or three-phase power before deciding. What's the largest inverter you sell for a three-phase property?
For three-phase properties, our biggest hybrid inverters go up to 25kW. That includes the Deye SUN-25K-SG01HP3-AU-AM2 and the Sungrow SH25T. Fronius' three-phase range, the Symo GEN24 Plus, tops out at the 10.0kW model.
These are simply the largest units we stock, not a recommendation for your home. The right size depends on your property's power supply and usage, so speak with your installer or contact us and we can help match the right inverter to your setup.
Do I need a three-phase inverter if my house has three-phase power, or can I use a single-phase one?
Yes, the inverter's phase type needs to match the electrical supply coming into your home. If your property is wired for three-phase power, you'll need a three-phase inverter, not a single-phase one, and the reverse applies too.
Most brands sell separate ranges for each supply type. For example, Deye's SUN-5K-SG04LP3-AU is the three-phase equivalent of its single-phase SUN-5K-SG04LP1-AU. Fronius does the same with its Primo (single-phase) and Symo (three-phase) ranges, as does Sungrow with its SH-RS (single-phase) and SH-RT (three-phase) models.

Is an 11kW EV charger single-phase or three-phase?
It depends on the charger. As a guide, Deye's Smart EV Charger range shows how this works: the SUN-EVSE11K01 is a three-phase-only model rated at 11kW, while the SUN-EVSE22K01 can run as 7kW on single-phase or up to 22kW on three-phase, depending on how it's wired.
In general, higher-power AC chargers (11kW and above) need a three-phase supply, because a single-phase circuit can't safely carry that much current. Always confirm the phase requirement on the specific product page before buying, and have your licensed electrician confirm your property's supply type matches before installation.
