The 50kW Deye SUN-50K-SG01HP3-AU-BM4
Three-phase, high-voltage hybrid Inverter is suitable for On and off-grid residential and light commercial use, maximising the self-consumption rate of solar energy and increasing your energy independence.
The SUN-50K-SG01HP3-AU-BM4 Three Phase Hybrid inverter is part of a series of three-phase hybrid inverters supporting a 160-850 HV battery, ensuring system efficiency and less heat dissipation. Featuring an unbalanced three-phase output and the ability to manage 2 independent battery banks, vastly extending the application scenarios.
With its compact design and high-power density, this inverter also supports a 1.3 DC/AC ratio, saving device investment.

During the day, the PV system generates electricity, which will be provided initially to the loads. Then, the excess energy will charge the battery. Finally, the stored energy can be released when the loads require it.
The inbuilt Automatic Transfer Switch will keep your appliances running without disruption, whilst the battery can also be charged by a connected generator to ensure an uninterrupted supply in the event of a grid blackout.
DEYE Hybrid Inverters are fully compliant with the stringent standards set by the Australian Clean Energy Council (CEC).
This compliance not only assures you of the product’s safety and efficiency but also makes it eligible for various government incentives. Their suitability to Australian conditions, coupled with the assurance of meeting national standards, makes DEYE Hybrid Inverters a smart, cost-effective choice for your energy needs.DEYE Sun hybrid inverters are designed with a versatile second AC input that allows for innovative energy management solutions.
The 'Micro Inv Input' feature, which enables the Generator input port to be used as an additional input for AC coupled PV with micro-inverters; this feature is also compatible with "Grid-Tied" inverters.
The operation of this feature is linked to the battery's State of Charge (SOC). When the battery SOC is lower than a set value, the microinverter or grid-tied inverter will start to work. Conversely, when the battery SOC exceeds the set value, these inverters will shut down. The design allows for a flexible and efficient way to add a second PV array, especially in locations distant from the primary DEYE inverter setup. This enhances the overall energy management by AC coupling the second array to shorten the DC cabling.

Installation of Hardwired Electrical Products
in Australia
When it comes to the installation of hardwired electrical products in Australia, it is important to be aware of the regulations and guidelines in place to ensure safety and compliance. As per the Electrical Safety Act, installations operating at ELV (Extra Low Voltage) levels of 120 VDC (Ripple Free) and below may be installed by individuals with the necessary knowledge and skills.
However, it is crucial to note that installations operating above ELV levels require the expertise of licensed electricians and experienced installers. Products falling under this category are not suitable for DIY (Do-It-Yourself) installation and must be handled by professionals. This includes, but is not limited to, DC solar arrays operating above 120 VDC and hardwired outputs of inverters and similar products converting ELV levels to AC voltage levels over 50V (such as 230V AC).
Attempting to install such products without the proper qualifications can not only compromise performance and pose a significant safety risk, but also may invalidate any manufacturer’s warranties.
At Buzz Energy Systems, we recognise the importance of reliable and efficient installations that prioritise safety, performance, and warranty compliance.
For installations that operate above ELV levels, we strongly advise against DIY installation. Instead, we recommend seeking professional assistance from licensed electricians and experienced installers to ensure the proper installation and optimal performance of such products.
Buzz Energy Systems can facilitate access to qualified tradespeople and accredited design professionals. Our network of trusted contractors ensures compliance with regulations, preservation of manufacturers’ warranties, and most importantly, your safety.
