Victron Solar Charge Controllers

The Victron Energy BlueSolar and SmartSolar MPPT Solar Charge Controllers are designed to intelligently maximise the energy harvested from solar panels and store it in batteries, in the shortest possible time.

The MPPT model names, such as "MPPT 75/50", indicate a "Maximum Power Point Tracking" device, in this case with a maximum PV open circuit voltage capacity of 75V with a maximum charge current of 50A. 

BlueSolar Range

The BlueSolar charge controller uses Victron Energy BatterySafe technology to maintain battery health and extend life, by ensuring that the battery is not overcharged or undercharged. They also feature a temperature sensor that ensures heat stays within a safe range.  

SmartSolar range

With various models up to the range topping SmartSolar MPPT RS 450/100 and 450/200 models. 
Adds the convenience of Bluetooth features built-in; The wireless solution to set-up, monitor, update and synchronise SmartSolar Charge Controllers.
A Smart Battery Sense or a BMV-712 Smart Battery Monitor can be used to communicate battery voltage and temperature to one or more SmartSolar Charge Controllers.
